2.5 hours · Guided cathedral visit · Castle entry · ★4.8 from 146 reviews
The best value in this guide: a 2.5-hour walk through Alfama with entry to Lisbon Cathedral, a guided visit inside, and entry to São Jorge Castle all included.
You meet at the Casa dos Bicos, the house with the spiked façade, and start with the Roman fish-salting tanks below the city. Then you wind up through the alleys and patios of the old Jewish quarter to Largo do Chafariz de Dentro.
After the cathedral comes the Portas do Sol viewpoint, and finally the castle walls at the top of the hill.
Excellent reviews, a very fair price with two entries included, and a guide to explain the cathedral. Guides work in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French. Not suitable for travellers with limited mobility: Alfama is steep.

You want the cathedral explained, plus Alfama and the castle, at a very fair price.
You can't manage steep cobbled hills: try the tuk-tuk tour instead.
